Ungar Architects are committed to producing high quality residential work which meets
the objectives of the client, those of the site, building and local planning authorities as
well as regulatory requirements associated with listed historic buildings or conservation
areas. The practice has completed a range of residential projects in North London, chiefly
in Hampstead Garden Suburb, St. John’s Wood, Hampstead and Belsize Park. Current
projects include designing a large new build house on a highly sensitive site within a North
London conservation area.
The aims of commercial clients are achieved with careful regard to how architecture, interior and furniture design elements can best serve business objectives. Ungar Architects specialise in retail, office and pharmacy design, having completed projects throughout London, including W1. Peter Ungar was born in London and trained at the Architectural Association and Cambridge University. After graduation he worked for Michael Hopkins and Partners on the New Parliament Building and Glyndebourne Opera House and later at Jamie Fobert Architects on a range of schemes including a 15,000 sq ft residence overlooking Port of Spain, Trinidad. |
